GATES TO BE CLOSED.
Unfortunatly due to more used needles being found within the carpark area amongst other reasons the desicion has been made to ensure the gates are kept closed. Keys will be handed out to club members at the next meeting on the 27th of April.We would appriciate if you all close the gate when leaving the track irrelevent of who is still within the confines of the track if they are members and for whatever reasons don't have a key then they will have a number for someone who has a key. This is very regrettable but the committee feel there is no other alternative. |

The 2nd round of the Metzeler British Enduro Championship took place at Lossiemouth this weekend in a return to wintery conditions. Championship leader Tom Sagar was still recovering from the heavy fall that put him out of last weekend WEC round in Sweden & in such a closely contested competition Paul Edmondson was primed to take the first day. Tom was the runner up. Daryl Bolter was 3rd & Greg Evans was 4th. Greg won the first test of the day but lost time on the last test when he crashed & he got sand blocked his fuel pipe. Greg won the first test on the second day but his chain snapped & he dropped 20 minutes to end a weekend of cruel weather & cruel fortune. Tom won day 2 from Paul with Simon Wakely taking 3rd.

We would just like to remind everyone that Woodside is a member only track and that the club pay over £3000 per annum on rates for the ground and additional monthly rent to Moray Council, and as such due to the unprecedented numbers of riders now coming to the track the gates may be locked and if so all current members will recieve a key along with their club membership and any riders who cannot produce a membership card upon asking will be asked to leave. Grid reference for track It was suggested at the meeting last night that it would be handy for folk to have the exact reference for Woodside as the last few times an abulance has been needed they've had trouble locating the track,(seemingly they cant follow orange arrows on roundabouts), so why not stick it in your mobile or run outside and write it on your sun visor in the motor. NJ 23 36 35 Hopefully you'll never need it but if you do it could make all the difference!!
